Our journey is a masterclass in perfect timing and a lifetime of "almost" moments. Though we officially reconnected years later on a dating app, our paths were crossing long before we ever realized it. We grew up just minutes apart, and in a twist of fate, even our parents attended middle school together.

We eventually shared a classroom in high school, but life had a different timeline in mind for us back then. We spent years narrowly missing each other until that digital "match" finally stuck. DJ remembered Larissa instantly; while it took a few shared memories for Larissa to bridge the gap to our past, our first date revealed a connection that had clearly been waiting for us all along. We went for a hike and fell into such easy conversation that by the time we headed home, we knew we had found our person.

As homebodies at heart, we’ve built a life centered on our own little world. We are the kind of couple that avoids the crowds and prefers spending every spare moment as a family. We constantly finish each other’s thoughts and frequently joke that we share a single brain cell that just pings-pongs back and forth between us.

Disneyland has always been our "north star." Larissa grew up making yearly memories there, a tradition we’ve proudly continued. It’s the place where we got engaged while expecting our son, Nico, and we’ve loved bringing him back every year since. Our journey hasn’t always been a straight line, but every turn led us exactly where we were meant to be. We are so excited to return to the heart of Anaheim to finally say "I Do" and celebrate our wedding in the place that holds our most cherished traditions.
